And then a hero comes along
While watching TV the other day I came across the movie “Spiderman”. Obviously Spiderman is seen as a hero in the movie and it is easy to see why. In the movie, Spiderman is this mysterious figure who seems to be able to keep the whole city happy. He does this by stopping crime from all different parts, making everyone feel a lot safer. People know they can count on him to be there when they are in need, and it is comforting to know someone is out there who can make you feel safer because their goal is keeping people safe. This hero is especially important after 9/11 because he protects the city. After 9/11 people are especially afraid of what may happen again in the city. Knowing that there is a hero out on the streets who seems able to do just about anything creates a very safe feeling for everyone.
